As an executive coach, I work directly with a limited number of high-level professionals.
In my corporate executive coaching, I've worked with CEOs, founders of multi-billion-dollar Silicon Valley unicorns, and more. Please click here for more information on my corporate coaching.
If you're a self-employed professional or are seeking coaching outside your organization, please read below to learn more. In my coaching work with entrepreneurs and solopreneurs, we focus on the areas where you'd like to grow, which may include:
• Defining and clarifying your professional brand
• Growing your visibility in your industry
• Increasing your ability to attract the right kind of clients
• Becoming a published author and marketing your book successfully
• Dramatically enhancing your online presence and impact
• Launching a new entrepreneurial venture and/or taking your existing practice to the next level
I typically work with clients in the following ways:
– an intensive, 2 1/2 hour strategy session;

– year-long mastermind groups.
These are not right for everyone; they're personalized offerings and are priced accordingly. If you'd like to explore free or low-cost resources, please check out my books, online courses, and the more than 700 free articles on my site.

WHY WORK WITH ME
Today, I’m the Wall Street Journal bestselling author of The Long Game, Entrepreneurial You and Reinventing You, published by Harvard Business Review Press, and Stand Out, published by Portfolio/Penguin and named the #1 Leadership Book of the Year by Inc. magazine. My books have been translated into Arabic, Chinese, French, Italian, Korean, Polish, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish, Thai, Japanese, and Vietnamese.
I was fortunate enough to be named one of the Top 50 Business Thinkers in the World by Thinkers50, and the #1 Communication Coach in the World by the Marshall Goldsmith Leading Global Coaches Awards. I consult and speak for organizations such as Google, Microsoft, Fidelity, Morgan Stanley, Yale University, the National Park Service, the U.S. State Department, and the World Bank.
I teach for Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business, Columbia Business School, HEC-Paris and IE Business School in Madrid (two of Europe’s leading business schools), and have lectured extensively in Europe, Asia, and North America.
I write regularly for the Harvard Business Review, Fast Company, Newsweek, and more. I’ve reinvented myself professionally many times and have worked as a journalist, a presidential campaign spokeswoman, and a nonprofit executive director.

But it wasn't always that way.
I had three book proposals rejected before I published my first book. In my 20s, I was turned down by every doctoral program I applied to – and now I teach for some of the best business schools in the world. And when I was starting out as a consultant, my entreaties to blog, for free, for top publications were met with silence; they didn’t even have the courtesy to respond. I broke through and have been able to reinvent myself and build a meaningful, exciting, and lucrative career. I’ve learned a lot along the path, and now I look forward to helping you do the same.
